THE PROGRAM

MATERIALS 1

 ECTS Credits: 4

Objectives:

After defining material chemistry, this course aims at presenting fundamental principles underlying this science. Basic synthesis and reaction chemistry will be described and usual material characterization techniques will be presented.

Macroscopic characteristics are illustrated on dedicated examples, and target-oriented material selection is discussed.
