What is around the campus?

As a future freshman, you may have questions concerning your new life. The Carrefour Market (supermarket) is only a 5 mins walk from the university, and if needed an Express Shop is even close to the campus and open till midnight!

You may as well as go out of campus and buy some food. Some recommendations are:

• Ninkasi (for good burgers and beers)
• Univers cafe (for pizzas and kebab)
• OXXO (more burgers and beers)

If you are craving for other food, you might go to Charpennes, Part-Dieu or even in the centre of Lyon. Part-Dieu is the second largest business district in France and also comprises the largest urban shopping center in France. It is merely 15 minutes away by tramway!

Lyon is a rich city with many cultural monuments. The most iconic building is the Basilique Notre-Dame de Fourviere, located very close to the ECAM campus where you will have a few classes during the three year course.
